We’re looking for a Security Officer to join our team, where guest experience and safety go hand in hand.
Your Role:
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of all guests, staff, and hotel property. You will play a key role in maintaining a calm and professional environment while offering assistance and protection where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor hotel premises through regular patrols and CCTV surveillance.
Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
Ensure that safety procedures and hotel policies are consistently followed.
Assist guests and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of daily activity, incidents, and irregularities.
Control access to the hotel and restricted areas as required.
Key Outcomes:
A secure, peaceful, and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
Prompt handling of security incidents, with proper documentation.
Ongoing support in maintaining the hotel’s reputation for safety and professionalism.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations discreetly.
Good communication in English; other languages are an asset.
Flexible to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Possession of a valid Security License is an advantage.
